Travelling from Taupo Airport
Exit the airport and at the roundabout take direction Taupo on State Highway 1. Pass through the Taupo township heading north. Cross the small bridge over the Waikato River and take the first left into Norman Smith Drive. At the t-junction, turn left into Acacia Bay Road and drive straight ahead Road for approx 4 kilometres until you arrive at the archway marking the entrance to Acacia Bay. Mapara Road is the second on the right after the archway off Wakeman Road. Travelling from Auckland
Approaching Taupo on State Highway 1 (the major Wairakei Roundabout) take the right hand exit direction Waiaraki,Taupo. Continue along this highway and when you first sight the lake turn right following the sign to Acacia Bay/Kinloch. After approx 300metres turn left signposted Acacia Bay. Continue through the roundabout and at the Give Way intersection drive straight ahead along Acacia Bay Road for approx 4 kilometres until you arrive at the archway marking the entrance to Acacia Bay. Mapara Road is the second on the right after the archway off Wakeman Road.
